Problem: Phone is temperamental - sometimes shows a "your device is corrupt"; other times it turns on, seems like a software issue; not a guru in fixing phones though
Condition: seems like a software problem; I've taken it to get it fixed, the guys said they cant help because of lack of parts so there is a small area on top of phone where the backlighting shines through

Another thing - phone was on the market a while back (stated as it being bricked)- but it could not turn on at the time; I got caught up with life; left the phone for ages and tried again and there was some life to it, so the phone isn't (hard) bricked

Hi All,
Don't want to hi-jack this thread but I have a nice addition to whomever might be buying it: I have unused screen covers, phone covers, spare LCD, and spare phone parts (all except LCD and some other parts - can give specifics) for the Essential PH-1 that I would like to get rid of for a small fee to anyone interested. The phone was dropped in water and then the display quickly stopped working thereafter - so I imported a replacement LCD, but found that it was the display IC or touch IC that has gone astray. As a result I haven't used the replacement LCD or all the other accessories. PM me if you're interested, but I'll make a thread soon as well
