I believe POP OS can use the mining 1060 for compute and onboard as display.

I had a few of these gpus a while back. There is a work around and if you use it they seem to perform close to a normal 1060 6gb. The only issue is you have to modify Nvidia drivers and after a day or two Nvidia picks it up and tells you that there is no Nvidia compatible hardware connected to monitor. Then you have to use DDU and modify the drivers again. Great value for money if you're willing to modify the drivers on a regular basis. I couldn't find a permanent solution, although I sold one to a programmer and he made registry modifications to get the card working on a permanent basis.
