Hi Carbies

I have never done this before but can assist me in fixing this issue.

I am stuck and can’t get us to deploy our developed site from Azure DevOps using the pipelines due to the SSL error 1312 with our self singed certificate as well as with a paid certificate.

I have been struggling over a week now and this is just becoming more frustrating.

Solutions I have tried that have been have been found:

1. The certificate should be add to Local Machine Personal, the solution states adding it to your Root container as well. (Not working as a solution)

2. Remove the certificate Unique Container Name file in the corresponding location and run a repair command in powershell (not working as well)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

More details please.

what site is it?
where are you deploying?
Hosted or private agent?

The site runs in IIS
Deploying from DevOps to Windows 2012 Server Standard using IIS 8.0
Not sure what you mean with this : Hosted or private agent? We hosted the server at our office

It was working

It worked a while back so I don't see the need to redo the WebDeploy, the error occurs only when the SSL certificate needs to be put in place

So unrelated to DevOps?
