If you have a card that has a faulty pcie power adapter, would it work in one of these? Cause if I understand it correctly this pushes the power through the slot?

YOOOO This thing caught my attention.
I see somewhere it says this will work with the intel nuc? I've got the 10th gen i5, need some more GPU power. Please hold if possible!
 
Can this thing somehow connect via Thunderbolt USB-C or only via mini PCI-E?
