Neither - I only have my 3 screens working backwards.

Have a friend who does - it is just how he learnt.

Left screen: move to the left to get to middle screen.
Middle screen: move to the right to get to the left screen & move to the left to get to the right screen.
Right screen: move to the right to get to the middle screen.

My screens are mounted so it is just the SO who had to deal.

I started with inverted only way back. But I think that's because a mouse wasn't a thing so only flight games had up and down. I kakked when I moved to mouse and retained the inverted up down until a long absence from PC gaming.

I play inverted with a contoller. Soup is down. This is due to playing with a joystick on flight games when i was really young.

Got to DMG in CS using this control Method

Up is Up because thinking "Down" really hard should not make my mouse go up
