Yeah but I purchased this 3m RGB strip which came with a controller and remote with normal strobe, flashing and single colour effect for R150 from the chinas. You could potentially pull that off aswell
Yeah, but it still isn't integrated into your PC and where is the satisfaction in that, this is in the DIY/Modding section, and the only modding you are doing there is sticking a strip into your PC.

No my bad I left this out of context🙈

So I have the Gamdias Argus E1, it has RGB in the front which I took out and replaced with the chinese strips, cut it and soldered it to another strip which is on the top of my case (which illuminates the interior) then you can link that to the back plate which leaves everything in sync by means of daisy chaining it... or alternately you could do the same but instead of using the Chinese controller you connect it to your Aura Sync/ MSI majestic compliant motherboard

It makes more sense now!
I hope that's connected to an external power source, not just the ARGB header.
