So I have called Dell and found out that there is stil a warranty left on it and you can still RMA even if you are not a company.

This is my first post on Carbonite, but don't let that stress you out - I'm a respectable buyer, and have friends that have used these forums (back when it was prophecy forums), so I have confidence in this system and the sellers I am, however, very sceptical of buying a second hand laptop for my first time... so can you please be kind with me and go through the steps of communicating over skype to ease my worries. Is that okay?

I'd like to use the laptop for designing purposes, and would be away from the office consulting often, so the battery life is important - but if the battery is a bit shot, I'm sure I can replace it at my own cost? Please advise.
