i got it from a guy who deals wit corporate clients ...i dont know more than that. ive used it to go online & check for available drivers etc on the Dell site & i havent had any problems.

i was told that its got a serial key for Windows 8 embedded electronically on the motherboard it activates it when Win 8 is installed but i prefer Win7
