Looking for advice or sales offers on any 13-14inch travelling laptops with decent 4k video editing capabilities, ie: 32-64GB ram, excess of 512 GB SSD, 4KUHD/Oled display, etc. Needs a webcam and at least an SD card slot. Under 30K, if that's even possible. TIA

Add another 10k to your budget.

That's being EXTREMELY conservative. 4k on a 14" or smaller screen is already going to hurt. 15.6" 4K Core i7, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD, old RTX 2060 is already creeping past R 60k.

There was an Asus a while ago which had a 13.3" 4K screen with 16GB RAM (non-upgradable), 1TB SSD, integrated graphics and that was close to R 50k.

There are a few other options (all out of stock/discontinued) in the R 50-60k range with as little as 8GB non-upgradable RAM and a 256GB SSD.

Is it worth skimping on the display to get the price down? Like going full HD minimum, and perhaps using an external ssd?
Something like the ASUS ROG zephyrus g14 comes pretty close

From where though?

I got my G17 in Nov last year & R 30k was a Black Friday special.

Incredible Connection online for R24999
That one?

But for video editing, won't you need colour accuracy more than refresh rate?

That's the one the search pulls up yeah.

I am not sure, this is what I am trying to find out. My limited knowledge and research suggests that the above QHD IPS is sufficient
