Cyberpunk 2077

Auto usually drops it to performance mode and can be a bit blurrier.

Since every reviewer has been raving about RT and DLSS, I tried out Psycho RT + balanced DLSS + NVIDIA Control Panel Sharpening + low motion blur and a few tweaks for more fps (med clouds, med fog, medium cascade lighting, Ultra SSR instead).

Lowest FPS I saw with the above settings at 1440p was 62 fps, still very smooth and it's very impressive given that with Psycho RT you have a full suite of RTX tech - raytraced diffuse illumination, raytraced reflections, ray traced ambient occlusion, ray traced shadows and raytraced global illumination - in an open world game that still runs way better than Watch Dogs Legion !

From what I can tell, the DLSS does fairly well in the city. The TAA struggles a bit when driving as you can see some jagged edges in the distance, DLSS actually takes care of these edges but it does introduce some artifacts of its own but it's not a big deal.
My initial impressions of DLSS were not positive but I think it must've been the corpo building and flight to the bar where it was subpar for some reason as it seems pretty good now.

Since I have the hardware, I will probably run with the above RT settings which will probably run even better with future patches.
Great info. Talks to my experience, which has been eye candy since day 1 of Nomad. Right now I'm addicted to psycho mode since you mentioned what it does yesterday - I didn't bother trying it before.

I think its pretty cool so far...

I take my time and explore and see everything! So 6 hours in I have achieved next to nothing!
Running it around 60FPS with RTX on psycho and adjusted settings, although i do get dips into the 40s.

I find turning off RTX and leaving everything maxed gets me 100+Fps and its great.
1440p, 2600X and 3080 :)

Although, this morning I am struggling with the game crashing... A lot

I mean one laughs...but that from an onboard is actually fucking impressive given the scale and detail of this game.
Yeah, not bad. I have faster RAM too (2666 vs. 3200)

Theoretically I should have a bit better performance (maybe 3-7 FPS)

Edit: and the uploader says without recording he gets 30-35 FPS.

*Disclaimer: This is with medium settings enabled (game runs way more smoother now)

Let's face it. The game is a flop. I will play it in 6 months or so. Now I need to get back to playing Lara Croft again:love:
Actually....my initial impression was it sucks balls. But that impression is solely based on the fact that I hate story driven games and was expecting a much faster pace.

I did what I always do with such games, downloaded the trainer today, maxed it all out, and went running through the game naked but maxed out.

It's fun. And visually I've started to see what all the hype is about.

Yoyo. I've got a 1070ti. 4k monitor though :/

Have you tinkered with any settings?
I have tinkered with a few, but basically I've just set it to high with a few modifications and it's running nicely. Probablt not 60FPS, but smooth so i don't really care.

GeForce Experience to set sane defaults, then tinker a bit, get stable(ish) FPS and turn off FPS counter and focus on the amazing game.

There's 1.4gb patch out now on Steam (for me) ... seems like the patch might vary in size according to what i have seen in the steam forums.

This looks like the changelog for the patch --> here

Yeah i started by making everything low except texture quality and moved it all the way up untill 60 is what u saw most of the time then switched it off. I had to OC my cpu to get a more stable frame rate at medium settings but so far so good. 4.7@ 1.265v is not bad imo... however i never saw any game breaking bugs that people are saying. Hopefully it stays like that. have about 15H played so far and i am having fun. Hope others are too <3

The game runs smooth from 50 up. Even my dips to like 48 are playable. I'm running between 55 and 62 in general depending on the scene, and even without g-sync it's super smooth sub-60.

I'm seeing posts here and there about the patch increasing performance a bit, maybe just on mid-low tier, I saw someone with a 2060 say they gained about 8-10FPS and a person with a 1660S say they went from dips to high 40 low 50s at times to a constant 60FPS now.
