Okay, regarding the Sager's HD5870m graphics card, I'm getting a good few PM's regarding the age of the laptop, and how a newer Nvidia GT 540m or GT 550m would be better, so I'd rather clear it up in the thread:
Simply put, the GT 5XXm Nvidia GPU's don't come close... the GT550m does less than half the 3DMark Vantage P-score that the 5870m does...
Laptop GPU designations differ substantially from Desktop units in the sense that the high-end cards have a significant performance advantage over mid-range cards, due to it being a niche market, with low yields and expensive fabrication processes, requiring high-end power circuitry, etc etc..
2 years on, and the 5870 is still a tier 1 performer, able to trade blows with the likes of the GTX 560m, etc.. and overclocks like a demon.

So no, buying a GT 540m or HD6770m based laptop will NOT give you better or even similar gaming performance compared to the 5870.. Don't kid yourself. Despite the machine's age, it's still as powerful as a recreational gamer would ever need, and worth every cent - so cut it out with the silly lowball offers, hmmkay guys?
