Thread URL: My PIF for getting the G19 from this here thread..
Item: Corsair Vengeance 1500 V2 Dolby 7.1 USB Headset *takes a breath*
Age: Almost 9 years.. I bought them new from Landmark PC back in 2014.
Warranty: That expired about 8 years back.
Condition: Pretty damn good for 9 years old.. Proof of life in this Google Photos album.
Location: Merrivale, Howick (about 10 min North of PMB)
Shipping: I can, if I have to.. but the original packaging is long gone, so I would prefer to hand them over in person. I do have wheels, so I don't mind meeting up somewhere.
For the super techy fans, this is the "CA-9011124-WW" model, but the "global" Corsair website seems to be down for maintenance at the moment (will check again in the morning). They are identical to this CA-9011124-EU model though.
With regards to their condition.. I have cared for my black and blue babies as well as I possibly could. But obviously there are a few age-related "issues".. The plastic does squeak (creak?) a little though, more-so on the left where the earpiece connects. It's not terrible, but could get annoying if you tend to move your head around a lot..
Electronically, they are sound.. (sorry, couldn't resist.) They are in perfect working order, the earpiece speakers and fold-out microphone are still clear, and the inline volume control buttons still give satisfyingly solid clicks.
FAIR WARNING: These things are stupendously loud. No joke.. With the volume increments in steps of 2 in Windows, I literally use them on 2 (maybe 4) for music, and then crank it up to about 20 to 30 for gaming, depending on the game. Also, it has a 3 meter long braided USB cable, thanks Corsair. :|
I will be a little sad to see them go... But I find myself doing more woodwork than gaming these days, so these are gathering a little too much dust these days.
So who wants 'em then...?
