Shweet then it's a monster of a Build :D. Really nice that X9 massive space for any build ^ ^

At first glance I thought was m-itx. Then read thread from beginning. Amazing case.

For comparison, my old NZXT h440 and the new x9

I'm not hating, nice PC. But I really can't make heads or tails of it. Its a lekker PC. But it needs more thought in running the pipes and cable. Maybe u were too excited.

Could I have hidden the cable and pipes a little more? Yes..
But they take up some of that empty space and what's the point of having nice cables and water cooled things if you can't see majority of it.

I have started with the modding, painted front and top panels white.
Still trying to decide what else I should paint.
1. Leave it as is
2. Paint the 2 IO panels on each side of the from panel white.
3. Paint the grills only of the one side panel.
4. 2+3
5. Paint both side panels white.
6. 2+5

-Will be replacing side window with glass soon to help prevent scratches.
- will get the midplate made soon to cover the other half inline with the mb plate.
- once midplate is in, will redo the water cooling to make sure everything is perfect

Looks good. I would maybe leave it as-is

Less is more. Maybe paint some internals white?

Just out of curiosity - why not just buy the white version in the first place ?

fatty

It's not here yet
It's more expensive
And I would end up painting some of it black.. It's a black and white build so the case must match

Pretty cool build bud, I think I should invest in an X9 build sometimes ^ ^.

Also I think what the other person was saying is I think your cable routes you took are kinda all over the place, like your loop going over and under power cables that type of stuff. But hey if you like it then so what, I still think it's awesome, and like the two tone so well done :D

Have an X9 standing here next to me...I'm not gonna use it though, it's great for watercooling but for an air build it's just vast lol
So it'll be going up for sale or trade.

I see I haven't posted update pics of the loop[emoji52]

I redid the loop a couple days after, here is the result. Once I get the midaplate made the loop will be the same but more straight/tight.

there you can see a good example of why I am really, really, really considering going for rigid...

from your CPU to top rad and then from GPU to bottom half...

'soft tubing' makes for kak bends and not to mention the double amount of fittings needed

I will be going petg tubing but probably in like 6 months or the end of the year. Will order the fittings and tubes and coolant and block and backplate for a second 970 when I have the cash
