Just some advice from my side having owned both of these, if you don't have a sound card or a good quality audio solution built in your mobo the cloud 2 is the better choice over the alphas.

The cloud 2 has a built-in usb amp whereas the alpha doesn't.

Interesting as I have the alphas and they fantastic other then it slipping off my head probaly got 30 hours usage from the time me has them

Will get new headset when ready for new build 2019

I believe the soundcard on my board isn't too bad so it should be fine, obviously alpha is first pic but I do not think I'm to fussed with which ones come my way.
