Carbonite App

Hi Everyone

I'm not sure if asking this is valid or a huge undertaking but I personally would love to see a Carbonite App. I find this site to be really fun and engaging...a App I feel would give it that extra push forward and even something like hosting auctions on Carbonite for sellers and a "Carbon Token" for rewards, incentives and donations.

I feel very welcome on Carbonite and would like to contribute in the only way I can right now...with ideas.

Does anyone else think this is a good suggestion?

You can access Carbonite via the Tapatalk app already. I think it would just be reinventing the wheel.

While im sure the Carb devs would do a better job at it, the added cost and time just doesnt make it feasible in my opinion.

It might be for poor people but when Apple stops dictating what you can and can't do with your apple products I might consider supporting them...

For now I will stick with Android that lets me do whatever I want with my device rather than it just being there to 'take pretty pictures'....

I see this argument quite a bit.

I have always preferred an Android device, but lately I'd argue that it does not really matter.

What is it exactly you want your Android phone to do? With streaming services like YouTube and Spotify, the only thing your Android device can do extra is download a couple of unauthorized virus APKs from the interwebs.

Well, that's just me talking. I only use my phone for calling, messaging, YouTube and listening music.

Oh come on Viv, we can spend R350 000 (probably way more though) on developing a basic app that just opens instead of funding the site for several years.

Web Push + Notifications !== Push Notifications

PWAs implanting the spec correctly work fine.
