If you guys like camping note I make it my mission to go out of my way to make your camp less comfy and will tend to semtex you out of that hole and into the original hole which you came from.

Can't wait for more guys to join. I also only tend to play well or try win when my team seem to be the underdogs and if they're really nice to me then I actually try for them otherwise it's WWE smack talk time punks.

This game is such a camp fest, it's quite strange as I played a few euro games last night and the play style is completely different, felt like the old CODS. Maybe our saffers just like their Campmaster and Cadac combos.
 
I can understand a few of the camps on ground warfare as a building can be taken over by snipers but in team deathmatch etc the maps are so small that I lol hard when finding a camper and sticky bombing them... then watching the noob get scared not realizing I've tagged them with a bomb running into their building of campers the effects are priceless.
 
*sigh* Wish I could play, but I'm one of those sad saps suffering crashes in the game. Usually immediately on load. Sometimes I get into the menu. Once I was even able to start the single player campaign.

Any tips on what to try to fix this? Game is updated, drivers are latest, tried a whole bunch of stuff found on the net, but no cigar.

What CPU/GFX? I've heard lots of people have issues with overclocking on either.

I was there as well, found issue, really simple actually.

Anything, and I mean ANYTHING with amy sort of OSD, be it FPS viewer or whatever, switch it off or end that application, Ust COD built in FPS viewer if you want to. That worked for me.

Thanks Will try that. Only have Geforce Experience running, but haven't had any OSD showing.

Also disable any VPN (as in stop the service in the service page, even if the VPN is not active). Dolby Atmos has also given me issues in the past.

Might also want to try a clean format and not install anything other than drivers and COD. It seems to be very picky about stuff running in the background.

TONIGHT !! I'm keen ! Been away a bit so not had much time to play. Also been playing some Escape from Tarkov, but that game will make me smash my screen :/

Speaking of ... Got my Logitech Lightspeed kit which I wanna test with COD.

Running off a ssd or hdd? My brother had this till we found the hdd was on it's way out. Popped in an ssd and reinstalled and working great ever since.

You and me both bud. I can play one round at a time but that's the limit, when the next map loads it first freezes on the maps loading screen and then crashes... every. single. time. What makes it even worse is if I launch and join a round that is just about done then that's it, that was my round until I wait for the freeze, then the crash to desktop and then relaunch and start again.

I've gone through every post I can find and tried every suggestion other than uninstalling and re-downloading 120GB+... my mate plays without issue but because of my issues I can't actually join him. I just want to bloody play!

I was thinking about this, I had a normal HDD while my mate has an SSD... not sure if it is that but one thing I haven't tried - don't have a spare HDD lying around. Although according to HDD sentinel mine is hundreds so dunno if a new one or an SSD would help.

My game is also installed on a HDD. Not enough space on either of my SSD. Think I need to advance my plans to get a bigger one sooner

SO MUCH FUN, I'm enjoying MW a lot. Will have to say if a console player is good then aim assist is quite the challenge to beat but it's all in good fun ;) ………….. wish there were more ground warfare servers for SA because I keep been packed with 180ms ping for some reason

Bigger SSD arrived at home a little while ago. Will reinstall onto there this weekend and report back if anything changes.
 
Who is GRANDMASTER? Had two rounds with that fellow member, sorry my kills were so low was busy with unlock challenges ;) need to still get them all out the way ha ha

Changing from HDD to SSD really made a positive difference. Game hasn't crashed but I did get a weird glitch moving from the first mission to London. London intro audio played while displaying first mission outro video. At least I can play though so happy.

Haven't played since the new update. How is everyone finding it? Also I see they made it easier to see enemies, has it worked at all?
 
New groundwar farm map is a snipe fest. Fun though. I actually find the thermal scope super useful on this map where it felt more like a novelty on the others.
