What is the best and least expensive way to convert BTC to DOT?

Been battling with this and desperately want to get into DOT.

I'm guessing Binance is the best place to try convert BTC to DOT, seems to have the most volume.

I have a Poloniex account and converted some BTC to DOT there.

Steady growth at around 8-10% change. Went up from around $ 93 to $ 110 per DOT now in around 3 days. Had my eye on it as well as REN.

I have a poloniex acc never ever used it thou if you keen we could do a trial test and buy some DOT there will be a learning curve for the both of us
