It should, yes. I had the same board with the 1600 AF and it worked out of the box

I don't mean to blow up this thread, but iirc the 1600 AF is with Ryzen 2000, or might even be a later bios because it's basically a 2600 refresh or something can't remember. So I don't know if this still holds weight for support for Ryzen 1000

I'm not sure which is the AF, but both are supported from the same bios version according to the board's compatibility page:

the bios updates to accomodate the 3000-5000 series CPU's made space by removing support for the A and Athlon series CPU's. Any of the Ryzen series CPUs will work.
