Its basically a NAS with redundancy built in. and ISCSI drives instead of the normal SATA which is rated to last 1.5x longer than SATA drives.
This is a great solution for media storage at home and is great in the commercial sector for any storage solution especially CCTV storage.
I'm currently using it as a media server at my house and even gaming off of it, Game loding times are faster than using my internal HDD.
it also works with HIKvision nvr's(depending on model).
It has 12 hot swappable drive bays and 2x redundant power supplies. 70w each if I remember correctly.
