Bluetooth dongle

Good afternoon,

Can anyone please help me?

I am at my wits end with trying to find a proper bluetooth dongle for my pc so that i can play with my controller without issues.

Getting disconnects and input lag while i'm sitting no further than 4 meters away from my pc.

If there is one worth buying on takealot i was not able to find it as most of them have reviews mentioning input lag and disconnects.

I live in faerie glen if anyone knows a shop selling a bluetooth dongle worth getting in the area.

Buy a USB extender cable with female to male and put the end of the dongle on your desk.

most likely it’s the electronics on the motherboard interfering with the signal or the static of the chassis.

you could be a top of the range dongle and it would suffer the same problem.

If you want a proper dongle get a PCIe WiFi/Bluetooth extender card with a loose external antenna (important). I.e. the antenna is separate from the card and connects with wires to the card, so you can move the antenna around.

EDIT: this is a similar solution to @JollyJamma's above; the idea is to get the antenna further away from your PC. So maybe try the USB extender first and see if that helps. If not, I'd try the PCIe card.

Another completely random thought - maybe try ensure your phone's Bluetooth is off and that there aren't other Bluetooth devices in the area.

Thanks for the replies, i was thinking of going both routes honestly. Was about to buy a usb hub with a long cable to get it on my desk right in front of me but a friend told me just to buy an xbox wireless adapter for the controller at delta 5 so i did and it finally works like a dream.
