So I simply cannot believe that I haven't found a thread for blender / 3d artists.. (3d max and maya too if you are willing to pay for design software).
Anyways, I've decided to start a thread for discussion, people can share design work they've done and maybe even get a little side line business hustles as they go.
(I'm not sure if this is the right category, hopefully it is and I hope I don't break any rules).
I currently work full time but I have this part time gig where I design gym layouts.. It's not a super lucrative but it makes some extra spending and helps with the really short months.
I was hoping to maybe find other blender designers to see if someone might be willing to help me when I have too much on my plate, maybe just design a building quickly, I'll use your building and add the 3d equipment and do the layout and final render to send off to the client. (So I'll split the profit 50/50 if I make say R500 you'll get R250).
I'm studying part time and both studying and working part time is becoming TOO much for me, so if anyone wants to maybe offer some help.
I'll send you the floor layout that I get from my customer, you need to design the building, add the doors and windows etc and if you also add the materials (we can discuss that, I've got some pre-made materials) then that's a bonus and for an evenings work you can make a few extra bucks (It's not a lot, like I said).
Only catch is it all needs to be in blender, or else if I spending my evenings trying to convert your files and import them it might take longer than it would for me to actually do it myself.
I've attached some of the renders I've done for my client, he wants to start doing a lot more layouts with me, 1 a week at the very least. I only need one person for now, but having a platform here for people to share work and discuss 3d nerd talk would be great!
Anyways, this thread was started for everyone doing design work, even 2d I guess can also go here, but why not have a thread where we as designers can show our work and possibly network and grow our careers on this awesome platform!
