This game was flawed when they started paying so much attention to technical details and graphics instead of keeping it simple and focusing on game play and team play. The more stuff you add and the more technical you get, the more stuff that can go wrong, the more frustration it is going to cause.They should have stuck with BF2 recipe.

Thing is, it's all these gimics of better graphics that lured so many cod boys to the bf side, then they just failed to deliver.

Also, is it just me or are the servers getting laggy these days? I can't snipe for **** these days

Update broke my game. The moment it tires to load the spawn screen it crashes, was working fine before the update.

I fixed sound loop bug on my pc by downloading latest realtek sound driver from realtek site. Had a newer version than motherboard website. Had soundloop error on dawnbreaker map alot

In your registry check under Local Machine/Software/Wow6432Node/EA Games/Battlefield 4 There should be a Key LAbeled Xpack 1

If there isn't Right click on Battlefield 4 and new Key and lable it Xpack1, then right click on Xpack1 and new string value named Installed(You must have the capital) double click on that and set the value to True. Exit origin before doing that. China Rising should work after that

Same rule as always. backup your registry beforehand

Fixed my crashing issue, I had been using up to now a custom user.cfg file so my fps would always show. Seems now you must delete that file otherwise the game just wont work, so now if I want to see fps have to type it in the console every time meh.

Just bought the game. So much better than COD - although COD is faster game play.
Running pretty well on my 5850 @ medium to high settings without any issues just yet.

So i think im screwed. Got home from work, switched pc on, checked carb etc etc. Eskom kicked in and i sat for two hours in the dark and when the power came back on i wanted to jam some BF4. double click icon and origin pops up saying update is in progress at 38%. Cool, must of started earlier before power tripped. ERROR. Not cool. update wont go any further. Right click try and repair game met with another error try again later.

Am i gonna have to reinstall the game and do ALL updates again? Think id rather just not play anymore

try deleting a not too big file in your Update>Patch>Data folder or see if anything in your DownloadCache folder ???

Woke up and tried repairing the game again. Now it seems all is working. Update started again and is still going. Holding thumbs.

Played this morning and the memory leak was clearly not there but there was some lag (thanks to a player with a ping of nearly 300) so I hope this patch has sorted it out.

The lag/stutter is just so unbelievable, ping is like 20ms and done this core unparking thing but still...that like bounce back effect thing is killer. A lot of swearing and getting angry around this mess of a game.

Yea I got it as well [MENTION=24613]crack2483[/MENTION]. Flushed my dns scanned virusses restarted router multiple times. Next day it just disappeared... but now my bf4 wont load. Cant even open up test range

After it did that it did go in and I played a game, then said game crashed and when I tried again the same issue appear. Haven't tried today though.

I stopped playing 2 months ago due to all the crashes haha was awesome in beta, not a single crash and then the **** hit the fan such an epic game, pity it's still plagued by all these bugs

I have been getting phantom opponents since downloading second assault.only appears in orange once im fragged.two steps away from me prone.sound drops on respawn in vehicles, weapon doesnt appear for 5 seconds after respawn...oppenent appears 4 sec after respawn!
Its like they fix one issue and make 10 more.
