Ballistix sport DDR4 8gb ram

So i have this loos ram stick "ballistix sport DDR4 with the red heat shroud on sides so this won't work if its installed seperate but with an corsair any thing it wil pick up on the pc

Do any one know how to sort this?

First of all? What? Why can it read while paired wit another ram stick, and not alone?

How many DIMM slots do you have? Confirm which slot is slot 1. Some boards only boot with a single stick if it's in slot 1. If it is indeed in slot 1 and it still doesn't work, apply RAM to bin.
