Hi please advise who changed the engine and has it been registered on natis system?

The engine was changed by a Audi certified garage called VAG Center and not sure what you mean by if it's registered on natis system I mean I have the natis document and all but isn't this the case for all cars in SA ?

When an engine is changed, natis has to be updated with the new engine number.

Otherwise the papers are technically no longer valid.

Yes its a serious thing, you need to go for police clearance, they verify engine has not been stolen etc then you get a certificate, do roadworthy and then take all docs to license department they will issue a new natis and license disc with new engine number.

And just to clarify, shops never do that for you.
Always on the owner. And its a pain
