ASUS has finally upgraded the STRIX-F boards with the X870 generation, which was long overdue. For the longest time the STRIX-F and STRIX-A models were just reskinned Prime or TUF models at best, but with this generation that all changed. On the down side, this increase in build quality, features and connectivity has made the price go up and the STRIX-F currently has an MSRP of $499 or R11,799 and at that price well... Just don't

At a more useful price of R9,799 @Oj0 from Progenix it makes a lot more sense. Still pricey but somewhat justifiable.

Right now the boards for the AM5 800 series are good, but the present CPUs are corduroys, so we will revisit these when the X3D CPUs launch later.
