its a 3 slot card make sure you have 3 slots for the card

never been OCed for more than 1 hour, benchmarks was the reason for that, never touched the volts, only use the gpu and mem for OC

Oh to add, i found a guide to do the shader unlock, the card has a 6950 clocks and mem clocks but has the 6970's shaders etc, you get about a 7% speed increase if you dont OC to the 6970 clocks

Please confirm if you have flashed a DCII 6970 BIOS on or not? (And if not, why not! ) That will give 6970 shaders AND clocks.

Hi

i flashed with a mod tool on tech power up, it modes the original bios and unlocks the shaders, so in general its a 6970 bios with out the clocks, but i did a quick test and it OC well to a 6970 clock with no issues.
