Apex Legends

I think they realized almost every gun's iron sights are ass, the new R-99 skin and the Sentinel sight are amazing.
Then they should make the skin free (or like 30 crafting points). If they won't, then this sets a president for numerous future pay-to-win skins and features. (ie. if all else being equal between two players, the one with the paid skin has an advantage. THAT is pay to win.)

There have been several skins with better sights since day one.

Next time teach your cat to turn your console on before you leave!

AOC C24G1.
Ok, are you using Variable refresh rate? ie gsync?

Reason Im asking is you FPS is above your monitors refresh rate, not ideal when using VRR. And def not nice when your FPS fluctuates where VRR is enabled and disabled in quick succession. Might manifest it self as micro stuttering.

I have it set to perma 144Hz for Apex.

Do yourself a favour and cap it to 141 FPS (+-3 FPS BELOW your monitors max refresh rate). Frame limiters are inaccurate, hence why the little bit of head room.

NVM misread your response :)

Enjoy

I see so many people with misconfigured gsync/freesync monitors to the point where they literally wasted their money due to not utilising VRR for its intended purpose.

Thanx for the info... also have the AOC 144hz but freesync.

I'm having the best lootbox luck, the last one I opened I got two golds, the Mirage finisher and Longbow they added at the end of last season.

Got a 1440p 144hz GSync monitor. What settings do I need?

In short:

Cap your in game fps to +-3 fps below your refresh rate. In this case, 141fps. Use either in game fps limiter or use fps limiter in latest nvidia gpu drivers. Rtss also works but is an extra application and cause issues with some overlays in games.

In nvidia settings, enable gsync and enable vsync globally. (disable this for specific games and apps like csgo where unlimited frames outweigh the gsync advantages.)

That's it pretty much.

Vsync is needed as it works differently when used on conjunction with gsync. And seeing as you are limiting fps to below monitors refresh rate you will not experience the input lag associated with vsync.

Edit: keep in mind, a stable fps is a much nicer experience than highly fluctuating fps.

So set quality accordingly and lower fps cap accordingly. Stable frametimes equals stable input lag equals stable and consistent aim.
