I never gave it a second thought until someone said they never get a Mastiff from Lifeline it's so rare and people told him it can't happen.

Dont think there are local servers...might be the usual Origin servers - Europe and the US.

Played this morning using Rain Mobile connection, didnt notice any lag or anything of that sort...it was smooth...didnt actually check what my ping was as well. Either their netcode is really good or it was a decent connection for me when i tried it this morning.

Pre-load screen (when game has just launched, before you enter the Lobby) has a little white writing that states "Game Data" (Bottom Centre approx) its not always there but I have seen it.
Here you will be able to see the servers as well as the ping to the servers.

I have seen that there are around 3 - 5 servers for us South Africans(all EU though). Ping is around 210ms... Not the best but its playable..

That might be your ping, mine is around 120-160 haha you can also choose the server you want to join if you follow jacks instructions in this thread. That way you don't get put on US servers.

One thing I hate is when they redirect you to a website to report hackers... Why not just make it in game. Maybe less overhead for coding who knows. But still good that that many hackers have been banned.

Rust does this never used to. As you could just report to the server. Rust does use the same anticheat if im not mistaken.

120- 160... sjis.. lucky... best I have seen on mine is around 190.... avrg is above 200 and below 220..

This game comes with an extremely steep learning curve, because of this you'll experience one of two things. Chaining game after game after game after game after game victories together almost effortless or just instant death making you want to rage quit harder than any other game before this.

Honestly can't wait to see how the game plays out once they have custom lobbies and everyone on the server can play at a high level. Love the dynamic of apex far more than any other BR, but winning casual lobbies is by far the easiest so far and the current kill chasing meta is getting rather boring, rather fast.

Def not ping. Ping is not a huge problem in this game at all.

Head shots, and move around LOTS!

Anyone else having an issue where damage either doesn't regestered or only regesteres a few seconds after. I'm having it happen more and more. I hear the bullet hit and I see the "spray" but no damage... I've had it with the prowler a full mag. A scout and few of the smgs?

If you have just started playing, it's normal to keep dying in the beginning. Keep at it and you will start to get better as you get used to the meta of the game.

Would die almost instantly most of the time when I started and now am taking on most of the enemy squad in firefights. I would suggest partying up with someone and playing when you learning. It's way more fun and enjoyable this way.
