The eGPU works great. It has a GTX 1080 with 8GB RAM.
I've used it with a Intel Hades Canyon NUC on Linux and was able to play Doom and a bunch of other games through Steam Proton and this eGPU. It has collected dust on its mesh, but can be opened and cleaned easily. I have never opened it yet. I have the original packaging and a carry bag that came with it.
I am now getting a laptop and won't need it, so selling it. I'd prefer to sell the box whole since just the housing will likely not sell at all.
