27 inch is just to much for a 1080p screen. Especially if you sit fairly close.

IDK...I had a Samsung 24" CRG5 and switched to a Dell 27" 75hz (both were bought in 2021) and I can confidently say that the 27" gives off a better picture quality, not sure whether it the difference coming from VA to IPS to if the panel quality is just superior

it shouldn't be this given the PPI but it is, maybe check some reviews on the specific monitor and panel

I also sit fairly close, monitor is used mostly for browsing and videos

Ips the quality is definitely good. Dell does make some good monitors though. According to the reviews the screen is good and ips panel is nice. Complaints are though the blur in distant objects.
