Looks promising, only thing I don't like all that much is the transfer your money to them bit, but sadly thats how most stock trades work.

Love the fact that you can trade LTC

Yeah it's a local site from the looks of it. BitX have the same requirements too sell :)

I've used it, was easy to use. Only problem is that there is not a lot of trading going on as there are limited amounts of litecoin to buy/sell. I did make my first R250 selling a LTC on there :p. However the deals that do exist are priced a bit high. $23 per litecoin and the lowest sell order is R300.

Also to deposit cash takes a bit longer than I would like. I wanted to buy some coins at respectable price, but few hours later after depositing the cash the deal was already done. Cash only reflected in their account 1.5 days later. With crypto's that is a lifetime to wait, they need a payfast system in place or something so the cash can be deposited in under an hour etc.

Hi Guys,

Tristan here from ice3x.com

If you need anything let me know - tristanw (at) ice3. com

We are a local South African company.
We will have more miners and traders coming on over the next few weeks, as we prepare for our full launch.

So you can expect increased volume going forward. Please do register.
It's quick and easy and then we can keep you informed of everything.

We offer:
- Bitcoin and Litecoin trading.
- Special low-fee accounts for miners and volume/arbitrage traders.
- Quick deposits and withdrawals from your bank account.
- Full Bitcoin and Litecoin wallets with your account.
- Extra security: no single BTC/LTC coin is kept on the servers and everything is outside of the infrastructure (e.g. offline).

As far as quick deposits from you bank are concerned:

we are using faster payments.
I have done a transfer from my ABSA account that reflected within 3 minutes.
We don't use Fastpay. It is a merchant provider, so there is the rather steep 4% fee they charge for transactions, which can be reversed and only clear the next day.

Direct Bank transfers are the fastest. We have a sliding payment / deposit schedule which adjusts automatically.
A higher number of trading/deposit/withdrawal requests = higher number of transaction batches being processed.
When the exchange starts operating in full swing deposits may be confirmed up to once every 2 hours.

Thanks.

Tristan_Winters Any chance you would make the trading page visible without having to sign in/register?

You mean the order book / depth? We're looking at that for the re-design

I think it's a good idea personally and if you could log it through the 'Feedback & Support' tab on the page it would be great.

That way it wold definitely end up in the right persons hands at the company.

For now though, to see the order book you will have to log in.

Though the top panel of the homepage with the bid and ask price is also handy for knowing the market. :)

You guys have multiple banned accounts on another forum for shilling the hell out of the site...

PM'd you.

Oj0 - I would appreciate if you could tell all of us which other site we were banned from .... if you are referring to my broadband, I am actually spending a fair bit of money on this, seeing as you are so well informed it would be great if you could also make yourself available to Jo@WaksSilent.co.za who is currently following up with mybroadband. regards Gareth Grobler

ice3x redesign sorely needed, interface is a pain to use. Market is very thin too.

Hi Guys,

We all participate in the community across many forums and avenues.

I personally produce a lot of original content for the space which appears in Bitcoin Magazine and Blogs.
This is done at great personal cost to me in terms of time (weekends etc.) and usually there is no pay for it.

Everyone on the ice3x.com team is passionate about crypto-currency and the promise of this technology. We look forward to growing the South Africa community.

I have not been banned from any forums personally.
I like to think my contributions are valued in the community. I get good responses to content etc...

If you have any feedback or suggestion for the site, please log them through the 'Feedback' tab on the site.

I really want to see them get into the right hands at the company.

I actually agree that the site needs a re-design. :) It doesn't reflect the quality of the engine. I am personally working on that right now.

If you have any sites that you like the design of particularly, let me know. I would really like to see and discuss them with you.

Thanks for being a part of the Bitcoin community. Maybe one day we can meet and talk crypto over a beer or coffeee.
