Anybody still playing Guild wars 2?

Howdy

So after almost a year, i reinstalled Guild Wars 2 last night and started playing again.

I loaded in with my Thief in wvw and was quite impressed with how many players are still active.

I thought the game died off with all the new mmorpgs like POE making a come back, and all the Wow guys with Battle for Azeroth. but it seems the community still going strong.

So any Carbies still play?

I am on Aurora Glade ( i think most SA players are on here )

My ping averages between 220 - 260 so its playable, but wish could have better ping to enjoy it more.

especially in big zergs the game lags like a mofo, i even have to turn down graphics ( on a 1080ti with OC cpu ) and still meh, not sure if ping or something else.

But if anybody jamming still lemme know would be cool to roam around with some people that dont speak french or russian.

I used to play this a while back. I haven't played in ages, problem for me is that MMORPGs in general just have the whole grind for stuff factor that turned me away.
But hey, maybe I can give it a shot again.

I'm on whiteside ridge atm. Very populated. 200-250 ping.

Always ques in wvw and pvp ques are around 30seconds to 1min

I play. Wanted to get back into a MMO and was considering WoW again but then I remembered about this and decided to give it a try.

Recently completed the core game and now moved onto the expansions (HoT and PoF). I didn't get the Living World Seasons yet (rookie error - so will have to buy those as well).

Yes that grind I did way back.

I really wanted the incinerator thief dagger weapon and you need 100% the game completion which took me forever.

Then realised all the mats and cooking level to craft the recipes then I died haha.

Atm trying to get gold so doing silverwastes events which side pretty fun and bandit chests. Seems to work well

That seems like a decent ping

The ques for wvw are usually like 8 - 16 or so on Aurora.

But we all ways out numbered when it comes to zerging even when I think we in massive group the other zergs always bigger

Then we get whiped

I was a gw2 freak. Had my own youtube channel and only did WvW roaming. Then i realized there is more to life than this game xD - one of my vids even reached like 15k views :O

My favorite vid i ever made on this game - Kodan roaming xD - The music alone was so fun to add.

sPvP is where the gold is at, grind to the last league reward(get 50 gold) repeat last reward - 5-6 Winning matches, get 1-2 gold, complete league reward again for 20 gold.
Jahal Reward track = unbound magic = more gold

Sorry for reviving a 2 month old thread 🙈
I recently reinstalled GW2 and if anyone is interested in adding me to do random stuff or w/e in game hit me up.
I've got the PoF expansion and decided on building up a new main character instead of my old main character so its an under-developed character but still having loads of fun.
