so here's the deal... I want to trade in my Samsung phone to get the awesome special offered by Samsung because I will get more back in cash than just trying to resell the phone. In order to get the discount however you need to purchase one of their new phones ie: the zfold4 or zflip4 of which I don't know anyone who has purchased this phone, and this is the favor I need. In order to receive the cashback I need to provide them with proof of me buying one of their new phones - the IME number and a receipt showing the purchase of the phone. Sooooo I was wondering if anyone on here knows or perhaps has the phone and is willing to help me out.

the reason why i don't just buy one of their new phones is because i wanted to use the cashback and buy another phone cash rather

FYI

Que? Where is this offer?

So if I understand this correctly, you want a person's proof of purchase and IMEI numbers that bought a R37,000 - R42,000 smart phone to claim their rebate?

You then want to use the rebate with the amount Samsung is offering you for your current Galaxy whatwhat to purchase a new Samsung?

How much is Samsung giving as a rebate for Fold 4? What is the rebate for a Flip 4? Asking for a business idea friend...

1) on the Samsung website
2) well when you put it like that it sounds bad. rebate is not the term id use because I am at the end of the day trading in my phone and someone who can afford a 40k phone isn't really worried about finances at the moment. mans just trying to get an upgrade it doesn't hurt me to ask really maybe someone upgraded and didn't have a Samsung phone previously then this wouldn't apply to them and at worst if they wanted a cut that could be discussed not like I'm getting 20k back from Samsung
3) the cashback depends on what phone you trade in if you go to their website you can take a look but i think the max amount for having one of their new phones and trading that in is 10k
Why not rather buy, or trade what you can afford buddy? And here I am looking at my A30 and thinking still so blessed lol. And you talk about someone affording a 40k phone lols.

So the person committing fraud with you doesn't even get a cent of the cashback. Hai sies man.

This just opens a whole new kind of phone scams.

Someone shares their invoice and imei.

Scammer takes this and insures the device and goes and claims the cash back at the same time.

After a few months, scammer reports phone stolen and claims from insurance and gets paid out.

Insurance then blacklists the original phone.

Was my point as well, just did not want to say straight that it can possibly be a scam.
