AMB X370 Mobo - Most recent CPU Supported?

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about giving my current setup one last set of legs with a CPU and GPU upgrade (3060ti or 3070/ti, cpu will depend on what pops up on carb).

Can anyone please confirm what the last generation supported on on AMD X370 boards is? Ryzen 2000 series or 3000 series? I seem to see conflicting reports on google.

Specific motherboard is an MSI X370 Krait Gaming. currently running a Ryzen 1400 so I'm sure that will bottleneck any new card.

It usually depends on the manufacturer of that specific board. For example, the board you listed has a list of CPU's it will support along with what bios version is needed for it to work. See here.

Aha thanks dude! missed that. looks like it even supports up to 5000 series on the Beta BIOS but I'll probably stick to stick to 3000 series.
