Morning Carbonites.

Well, I'm finished with my first 4 card rig. I am running 4 x Sapphire Nitro's @ 111Mhs and 620 Watt Draw at the wall (No CPU Mining).

The Rig Makes around R120 a day before power costs, If calculations are correct it makes R102 a day after power.

The Complete Rig cost me R18040 , it will take a estimated 160 days ( 6 Months) to pay off.



My next rig will be Nivida, I am guess a 3 x 1070 Rig , Estimated cost R25K sad part is it should show around the same profit (maybe less) as the RX470 rig but at least I will be mining another coin

I guess so. Trying to save a bit here might not be worth it in the long run. Especially considering the price tag on our machines. Almost pulled the trigger and hit the checkout button....

It just sucks when your 1000w psu cant deliver 1000w and then blows up. Never cheap out on the psu. how much power do you need?

Looks good buddy, my global rate is currently on 3.86547mbtc/day. Power on 75% on both cards.

Per card I don't know, but on the plug the system is pulling about 450w.

Just need more than a 750W now for mining on a 3 card machine. Can only use 2 cards at the mo. Soon as the 3rd card gets added, it bombs and the system restarts when generating the Eth dag file. A few years ago I used huntkey 750w psu's on my antminers no problems. Guess graphics cards are a bit more sensitive

indeed indeed! and at the moment the rand has started to go down the drain again since 2 days ago. But im more interested in just the amount of mBTC the rig will be able to sustain over a period of 6 - 10 months.

gpus like clean and sustainable power. you can get a way with a good 750w but ull be having it working to its limits so thats not a good idea in the long run, 850w then, most decent psus do 100w over their rating. When one is unsure then you go to Johnny Guru.

For most rigs you only need it to remain stable for 4 to 6 months for ROI. Then the equipment is yours and the rest is profit. That's a relatively fast turnaround time versus other investment s. Even if you made ,80 percent ROI and sold your rigs you will have profited by over 50 percent in 6 months. No other investment can do that short term except for some risky stock trading on Forex

Indeed! I rather be gambling by buying bitcoins then, but mining is so much more fun! Just kinda gt tired of having to wait for any AMD stock too become available that ive kinda lost interest in still wanting to mine.

It is much more fun haha buying the coins straight is like stock trading but setting up the hardware yourself and watching the numbers is a lot more interesting haha

Nice earnings, where are the pictures of the rig! It's natural to show off here! , Could you monitor the bandwidth usage? I'd like to know how much data all six cards actually use.

Didn't it go up by like 29% the other day though? I mean it's settled down again but you can't count out the big bumps.

I mined about R250 worth of bitcoin that sat in my Luno wallet for a week, pulled out at just the right time and got R325
