Hi all

Looking for some advice please.
For my folks place - what backup power (trying to keep cost down) would be suitable for a hikvision 8 channel dvr (it has 7 cameras connected currently).

Just need to it last the 4 or so hours of loadshedding. Slots are usually 2 hours fixed there in durbs but thinking 4hrs to be safe.

Getting tedious to have to connect remotely and reset date & time everytime there is a power outage (plus the timestamp on footage ends up being wrong).

Ps-if it can supply power to a Huawei b315 it would be a plus. That router currently has the Huawei external battery on it so no biggie if it doesn't supply extra power as that device runs the 2 hours of power outages without issues.

TIA

if you doing this just to save you the hassle of correcting the time, why not just setup the NTP service on each device?

I use a Sherlo 6.4 A power supply to power my 8 Channel Hikvision DVR and cameras. Lasts about 10 hours with a 22aH drop-in Lithium battery.
