So this laptop slowly but surely died.......basically it started taking a while before eventually Posting and booting into windows but since we were getting into Windows we just stuck it out. It eventually just stopped booting into Windows and remains at with a black screen regardless of connecting to external monitor.

This points to either a dead GPU or dead motherboard from what I can tell. The power light still comes and the HDD light blinks when the HDD is plugged in.

I have tried reseating/removing RAM but not beeps or indication of it being a RAM issue. Display was also working fine up to this point and I have doubt it is the display.

Link: Review Acer TravelMate P255-MG-54204G50Mnkk Notebook

Specs:
i5 4200U (I cannot confirm it's a 4200U but according to model number it seems this is the CPU that should be in here)
R7 m265 GPU
8GB RAM
500GB HDD - This currently still has OS installed but I will have to format it clean, so won't have windows 10 installed!
15.6" HD display - 1366x768

Battery life on this laptop was around 2 hours or so for office stuff like Microsoft applications and web browsing.

I'm going to try send this to someone locally who can possibly confirm the issue.

Otherwise I have listed a price for now.

What happens if you boot into windows using safe mode?

So basically because there is no display on either built in monitor or external monitor. I cannot do anything.

And I've left it on for an hour to see if it maybe boots with no luck

Sent it to someone to look at it. They tried everything but it seems Motherboard is dead.

Laptop up for sale as is:

Including HDD, RAM and Power Cable as if it was a working unit and selling for someone who wants to repair or use it for parts.

Price (with everything): R800

I can split it;
Laptop (without HDD, RAM, Power Cable) - R500
500GB HDD - R200
8GB RAM (will confirm specs) - R200
Power Cable - R50

Will only split if laptop itself is spoken for and taken first.
