got a nut that's giving me grey hairs because its rounded. If anyone knows where i can find a 7mm bolt extractor wrench I'd be grateful. cant find any locally.
needs to be a wrench or a low profile socket with a hex on it as the bolt is on a rotating shaft which i need to keep stable to remove the nut

Item Wanted: 7mm Bolt Extractor combination wrench

This sounds like a typical "5 minute job" that has turned into 5 days? 😅
Is it something like this? What is currently rounded? The internal bolt, or the external nut?

For the normal extractors, I've seen them at midas/spares shops. Perhaps even builders?
These?

As for the nut. I wish you all the best. Will have to try use vice pliers or something.

literally a 5 min job thats turned into a week already. its the hex nut that's rounded. Been using all kinds of tools, long/short nose locking pliers, regular pliers, adjustable wrenches, filing a smaller wrench to tightly fit the nut, some hex tool to grip all sides, absolutely nothing.

will need to visit a full on tool store like force tools an see if i can find anything

Oof ok. Might have to sacrifice the nut, and buy the cheapest spanner you can get from cash crusaders.. and weld the puppy onto the nut (if there is clearance to allow it all to turn all the way of course) And have at it with a powerbar/hammer etc

Alternatively if you can get in there with a dremel of sorts, try take off/flatten 2 opposing sides? So wrench/spanner has proper surface to go over?

maybe take a file and straighten it on the sides and then use a wrench or even pliers otherwise saw it or cut it off
