Item: 3 x Phanteks 3-pin D-RGB 140mm fans
Age: 5 months (but only used for 2 weeks)
Price: R300 for all three

Reason: Swapped them out for 4-pin non RGB fans

Notes
- these are 3-pin DC fans so they can be controlled by the motherboard to some extent, but not as much as 4-pin PWM fans. I found they could spin at 30-40% speed minimum.
- on the Phanteks website, they list a 4-pin 140mm RBG fan which is not this fan. This fan can't be bought separately, it comes with the P500A and other cases.
