I bought this car as project and I truly love it but wife wants a SUV(tiguan) but refuses to let our 2.0tdi go.
I did brakes front and back(pads only at the back) Control arms, New fuel pump(unnecessary) new glow plugs(one was faulty did all of them)
I was going to do the exhaust and dpf delete but its not faulty so left it as is.
I also replaced the armrest so I probably have the only B7 A4 that does not have broken armrest clips and can actually move it up.

These were regular auto's AFAIK, and super reliable as long as the sensible stuff is done, gearbox oil service etc. The multitronic CVT Auto's are the one to avoid, huge failure rates on those

It's regular ZF Auto rated for 700nm. Pre 2007 multitronics were shit. Fixed after the lawsuit in America. The dsg is not as wonderful as you think. Mechatronic failures are super high.

Actually did not realise that retail on the car had hit R101k could have gotten a bit more but want to get something else before month ends
