Item: 2 x Logitech MK270
Age: Very a many years
Warranty: LOL no
Condition: One set - mouse is working (but scroll-click doesn't work), keyboard is dead. Other set, keyboard is working but mouse seems to be not lekker.

So both these sets are OLD. The one set has a working mouse that seems to have a scroll-wheel-click issue, and on the other set the batteries have run out into the keyboard when it wasn't in use and I simply don't have the time or patience to try and patch them up. Both has their receivers although the covers seem to drop off. I'll have to go look for all the parts at home but it should all be there. I'm not using them anymore and don't plan on using them in the future either.

They work alright for like media PC use and so on. I'm not too interesting in finding boxes and stuff for them but I'll pack them away if you want shipping. You arrange courier to come collect from my door - I'm not doing the courier or Postnet thing, I just don't have the time for it.

Come on people. why is this not gone yet?

Logitech has the unifying software that will allow you to pair the receivers with other devices.

Let us say you can not use your Logitech mouse. The receiver dongle broke because you had it in the laptop and put the laptop dongle side down in the bag. (yip, that happened to me) maybe someone thought "free flashdrive" and took it (that happened to other people I know) Maybe there is a spare Logitech mouse at work where someone lost/mislaid the receiver? Get this pif, link one of the two receivers to your mouse - and you should be up and running again.

I am not aware of other peripheral manufacturers that has the same (yet, ... but I am quite sure someone will pop in to correct me)

(I say "should" because I have recently seen mentions of a type a and a type b receiver)

I didn't know the above. Interesting. Think I should give it a shot...

Dibs retracted. If somebody claims this PIF and is in need of the dongle, I have a few to spare.

I don't think mk270 uses the unifying receiver...

I could be mistaken

Bump! If these aren't gone by next week, they'll be going to the trash.

Honestly, I can't be too bothered. I don't have a box for it and I'm not going to arrange shipping. This weekend was the last date for it, so this afternoon I'm dumping them. They're wasting space I need.
