Item: Hoymiles 600W Solar Grid-Tie Micro-inverter
Age:New
Price: R2 400 (each)
Warranty:Not sure - was bought from GeeWiz mid January.
Packaging:These don't have packaging as they were part of a larger order in one big box.
Condition: Brand new, never connected
Location: Kraaifontein, Cape Town
Reason: I initially wanted to have 230v AC fed straight from the roof into the generator port of my inverter, but have since changed my mind and will connect the panels directly to the PV ports of the inverter
Shipping:No, these things are heavy and awkward to package
Collection: Preferable

Note 1: I'm not 100% sure whether I should sell these yet, but I need cash to plug a gap elsewhere, hence the thread. If I don't get a windfall within the next few days I'm definitely selling.

Note 2: Don't buy these things if you don't have or don't intend to buy solar panels. These are meant to connect to the underside of the panel. It inverts and the power that comes from this is 230v AC which means you can connect your appliances without any other equipment in between.

Each micro-inverter can take two panels and can power a load of up to 600w (which is total total power consumption of my house LOL). I have two of them, which means you can connect four panels to power appliances up to 1200w AC

May I kindly request a mod to move this to the "Tools" section? I see most of the guys are posting loadshedding "helps" in there
