so I recently got two samsung 970 evo plus 250GB nvme ssd and I'd like to replace my old transcend Santa 1TB SSD.Only thing is I can't find any SSD over 500MB read and write, which mine currently has.Is this normal or are there some out there?

Only NVME drives are over 600Mb/s.

Well, unless you're using SATA SSDs in RAID.

So 550 is normal because my HDD has a read write of 150MB and for an ssd I thought it would have more?

Yes it's normal, if you want really fast speed nvme's are the way to go. Often see 1tb nvmes go for 2-2.5k depending on brand here on carbs storage sub forum.

550Mb/s is perfectly normal for a SATA SSD.
Google "sata ssd max speed", first line says "The SATA 3.0 specification only allows SSDs to reach a maximum data rate of about 560MB/s".
