It's actually a great monitor, with touch and a battery, but unfortunately It requires 2 cables 1 to display and 1 to power, so since i got it i only used my old monitor with 1 usb c to power and display.

So it only charges via the bottom type c? And not via the display type at all?

It does not charge via the display usb c port it will use battery.
