Ninja Sandwich
This is the way
I've tried learning how to code so many times over and just quit due to motivation/complications/burnout etc.
Hopefully by posting my progress here, there's some sort of accountability π
My goal at the moment, learn to code as an additional skill, mostly as a hobby at this point.
At this pace, it looks like 100 months of code π - difficulty is ramping up faster than I anticipated.
Day 1: β 17.01.24
Day 2: β 18.01.24
Day 3: β 22.01.24
Day 4: β 01.02.24 hardcore stuck on an exercise (nested lists), not looking at the solution till I figure it out. Finally got it 100% DONE!
Day 5: β 15.02.24 after 2 weeks I've completed Day 5 ... mainly due to getting distracted with games ππ
Day 6: β 20.02.24 took whole of Friday (16th) & Monday (19th) to complete, functions and loops caused an infinite loop in my brain π
Day 7: β 20.02.24
Day 8: β 28.02.24 - Took soooo long. Coded Caeser's Cipher, logic had my head spinning in all direction, managed to figure it out π€©
Day 9: β 04.03.24
Day 10:β 04.03.24
Day 11:β 05.03.24 First project - Black Jack 21 π(bit whacky but works)
Day 12:β 07.03.24
Day 13:β 14.03.24
Day 14:β 14.03.24
Day 15:β 19.03.24 This one gave me a run for my money, spent yesterday and today to complete.
Day 16:β 26.03.24
Day 17:β 09.04.24 Started learning OOP π - it so much different, I'm battling to wrap my head around it. π
Day 18:β 12.04.24 π’π΄π’π£π‘π π΅π€π£π΄
Day 19:β 15.04.24 Pink tortle OP π
Day 20:β 15.04.24
Day 21:β 24.04.24
Day 22:β 30.04.24
Day 23:β 02.05.24 π’ππ I'm so happy I was able to make something cool without having to follow along, everything finally clicked!
gap - I tried making this 1990 NES Tank Game Link - ultimately, I failed, I don't think using Turtle Graphics is the best library for this π I got stuck on moving a bullet towards a direction after I spawn it based on a key press. I'll give this a shot using PyGame down the line.
