It should work on AM5? Based on the manual it uses the built in AM4/5 backplate:

Worth a Google to confirm but at first glance it looks compatible.

Thanks for letting us know @goldfritter. I just received it and it didn't fit in my case didn't bother doing anything else....

From the manual it uses that same mounting hardware that I have, so it should work.
