Ran cinebench underload and saw 63 degree under load under default settings, which is roughly 13 degrees above idle temps. Under load temp seems fine its just my idle temps are quite temperamental sometimes mid 50s when I am just browsing.

It was on balanced. Changing it to power saver actually dropped the temps by almost 10 deg. What does this mean?

Thanks, I would understand the GPU impacting the temperatures under load but it doesn't seem to explain why its almost +10 deg on idle compared to similar setups or basically same temps as a stock cooler. Will look into the changing thermal paste remounting and your other suggestions...

Thanks I will have a look into this, the mount had pre applied paste and I had some slight difficulty mounting it.

Changed nothing except loading the xmp profile.
