Well this is good news - Disney+ in SA!!!

Disney+, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Showmax, DSTV, Hulu, HBO MAX, Apple TV, Crunchyroll
How does one legitimately watch everything legally?

But I do agree with you that it's cool. Depending on the kiddos content I may disable my netflix and get Disney.
I'm guessing the best option would be to do a quarterly pump and dump of the subscription service and just catch up on shows.

You are right - I am most interested in it for Star Wars content though.

Between Netflix Showmax Google and Apple TV and now this. Might as well pay for that dstv

I don't have any other subscriptions - would be keen to see if they offer a one month subscription so I can binge Book of Boba.
Their monthly subscription is $8. Last time I subscribed, they charged me exactly R139.99. It seems like they had worked out their South African pricing long ago.

In an emailed statement, the group said the service will launch in the country and other territories on 18 May with pricing ser at R119 per month or R1,190 for an annual subscription.

Tried Apple TV was not great, cancelled. Tried Prime, cancelled. So I'm in for Disney plus.

My goal is to keep it under DSTV and it's justified in my mind.

had at one stage netflix, prime video, apple tv, disney+, discovery+ and watched maybe 1 episode of something and that was it for the month. feel its like buying games where you satisified knowing you can watch/play something but you play/watch nothing.

Have Netflix and its so-so at best.

Prime is dog shit. Almost every show I tried to watch said I had to pay 3pounds to watch it in my region.

Disney+ for one Star Wars show right now is not yet worth it for me. The Mandalorian is good but Book of Boba Fett also fell into the dog shit category....We can only hope Kenobi is good. Their other shows don't really interest me and I don't have kids so all the Disney animated crap is meh.

For F1 fans I can highly recommend F1TV streaming service. Best 4dollars/month you'll ever spend.

The Disney video is out so feel free to make your own assumptions, wallets make huge waves when you are not happy with something.

Could not find a solid link to the direct leak so used Shapiro as he made valid points about parents needing to understand what their children watch, no need to agree with him.

Did he make that video as retaliation for Disney's opposition to the Don't Say Gay law in Florida ?
More than anything, it seems like he's just angry at Disney for opposing the Republican governor's ridiculous law.

Having said that, these streaming services are already out of hand. I'm at the point of just donning the black flag.
Netflix increased their price to R199, and trialing out extra charges for password sharers that if they actually do that in SA then I'm out.

Netflix Original content is garbage 90% of the time, so I don't even know what they're spending it on.

For Disney+, I guess if you're into the Star Wars universe it might be cool. As someone who isn't, and who would occasionally plunder, I barely even watch Disney+ content (I think I only watched Captain America and Winter Soldier, and Loki... and WandaVision though I feel like they should refund me for). Certainly not enough to justify a monthly sub. Maybe I'll sub one month every 6 months to binge whatever I missed.

Someone explain to my small brain why Star Wars Episode IV isnt on Disney Plus...

Someone explain to my small brain what happens with the early sign up promo, that R950 or something for 12 months. Am I supposed to receive a mail or something? In the app my subscription options are at the normal price

Any series / movies on Disney you guys can recommend ? Heard Loki and Mandalorian is good
