Ye, 4k is good here. You can access quality settings in the D+ app.Is anyone able to watch content in 4k?
So we got Disney Plus yesterday and I am unable to watch any content in 4k, it only goes up to FHD. I have looked on the website and app for a setting that may need to be changed, but no luck.
Does anyone have insight on this?
Seems to be working lekker on my Samsung Smart TVBtw, anyone using Disney+ on a smart tv (e.g. LG)?

Watch scrubs, Family guy, And the simpsons - Should keep you busy for a year.Cancelled my subscription after a few days. Not much to watch, unless you're feeling like a Disney princess.
I forgot they had scrubs.... 🙃Watch scrubs, Family guy, And the simpsons - Should keep you busy for a year.
Typical 🤣 The refuse to show the latest content and fail to listen to their subscribers over the years, now they want to force them to comply with BEE?? What a joke from Multichoice.Netflix and Disney must comply with BEE and pay tax — MultiChoice

Umm, you can use a VPN to get the US/European content & Disney+ has quite a lot of Star Wars + Marvel content.Although I was excited when I read the announcement of Disney+ in SA. But it got me thinking, and I have not subscribed yet and not too eager to do so. What will this package offer me which I have not already watched on previous streaming services? Had Showmax, cancelled, and went over to Netflix after hearing so much about it. So it turned out, there were maybe a few items on there extra, but the rest were already available or watched from the time i was with Showmax, etc etc. And i bought tons of dvd's over the years to support the film industry and shops that sell them....and from the list I have seen on Disney+, again it seems there are only a few things extra on there which I can perhaps watch and thats it. Then what? End up cancelling again?
Another thing that I have noticed, there are some series that are already streaming in the US, and are several seasons ahead actually....so why is it not available here in SA already?? Take an example of something my wife watched recently, "Law & order special victims unit" she watched them all that was available on Showmax and not all the seasons mind you, up to season 21...but they are on Season 24 by now, but nowhere so far, unless I missed it by accident and anyone is welcome to correct me, but I cannot find them showing the latest anywhere here in SA, and like I said, are already streaming on US streaming services. And you cant register with them unless you are a resident in the US...so the point im trying to make is this, unless they line up with what the US are getting at the same time, then these streaming services just aint worth it, from my point of view that is...Because I believe we all want to watch the LATEST content. That's just my view from i have experienced so far...
Recommend those shows as well as some classic movies in the catalogue. Watched ms marvel with my kids and we enjoyed that as well. Plus most of the recent marvel movies have been released on it some whilst still in theatres. My only problem with the service is we have the hot star version which means there are lots of bugs and compatibility issues.Any series / movies on Disney you guys can recommend ? Heard Loki and Mandalorian is good
Yeah i read about using the VPN to access those content which is fine thanks. But im just mainly refering to the local streaming services not able to match up with the services in the US and so on.Thats why im saying that the local streaming services are pretty much pointless.Umm, you can use a VPN to get the US/European content & Disney+ has quite a lot of Star Wars + Marvel content.
