The GOG copy is actually DRM free so some people will be downloading it for free tomorrow.

My friend offered to let me download his GOG version using his account but I decided against (because it's illegal obviously, and not because the game will probably need big patches which are easier to download on Steam :whistle:)
 
It's cool, I'll start downloading on my kak internet as soon as I can, then I'll go to the office tomorrow and abuse the 100mbps line.

What performance are you guys expecting?

I hope I can run 1440p on my 1080ti without too much compromise.
 
I'm expecting potato performance as I only got a rx 570 lol
 
I think if you looking for high fidelity, you gonna need a big card.
Am hoping those benchmarks are way off, but I suppose 2 or 3am tomorrow morning will tell.

70fps avg with DLSS 2.0 + Ultra RT at 1440p on my oc'ed 3080.

100fps avg with DLSS 2.0 + no RT.

Will play around and see if there's any free performance in other settings like lowering shadows/volumetrics down a notch.
 
If I can get 60+ I'll be happy.
I know RT won't be amazing on my 2080ti but will see how hard it tanks.

Okay I figured it out. This is what I'm getting:

The game comes with the following physical items:
  • Case with game code and soundtrack CD's
  • World Compendium detailing the game’s setting and lore
  • Postcards from Night City
  • Map of Night City
  • Stickers

Digital goodies included:
  • Game soundtrack
  • Art booklet featuring a selection of art from the game
  • Cyberpunk 2020 sourcebook
  • Wallpapers for desktop and mobile

I have a lousy steam copy. Nice.

Also, be warned gents, spoilers everywhere.
 
the Steam pre-load is done, however i noticed my download queue still has the Game there for an update and its checking like every 3 minutes...nothing happens when it starts, then it changes the schedule time by 3 minutes. Anybody else have this on Steam?
